At MODE, we believe in Giving Back to Society as well as Mentorship. We strongly believe that Mentorship is the key to success. Over the years, we have realized that all someone needs is a chance to succeed. One chance can create room for a president or a world champion athletic, or a classical concert pianist or an Oscar winning actor. We therefore launched the MODE Student Sponsorship Program aimed at aiding underprivileged children to get a chance at education.
MODE is committed to equipping the next generation as they are the leaders of Tomorrow.
Our objective is also to empower the youth as it is one of our Pillars for Sustainability. This goes hand in hand with Kenya’s vision 2030’s Social Pillar, which highlights on investing in people through education and training.
Benjamin Franklin once said: “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
We not only economically empower these children by paying tuition, we also attach them to a senior member of our staff who shares their story and walks with them for one week each holiday in the office setting, thus teaching by example, providing career guidance and stopping them from making the same mistakes.
As they grow, we likewise encourage them to find someone to pour into, someone to teach, someone to raise, someone to impact. This we do through our Student Sponsorship Program.
